I took my twists out after 5 days. I absolutely love the results!!

Blowout and twists

So this weekend I washed with SheaMoisture moisture retention shampoo and dc'd with their Deep Treatment Masque. Then I detangled with Taliah Waajid great detangler, twisted and went to sleep. The next day I untwisted and blower my hair out using the tension method to get this

I used Silk Elements Olive Oil heat Protectant, then I twisted my hair and flat twisted it back on one side. Here's what I got:

Back on my Weightloss grind

Since February, I have been attending an all women bootcamp in the mornings. I loved it! I would get up, go exercise in whatever way we were doing that morning and come home and get ready for work, energized and refreshed. Well, now that I am on a SERIOUS budget, that is an expense that I am needing to cut out (8sad face)!
So, tomorrow I will start working out at home. I will get up at 5:30, just like going to bootcamp and I am going to work out in my living room to Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred video.

I believe that I can still be successful using this video as long as I continue to watch what I eat, drink the correct amounts of water and also incorporate some running in with the video. I love the way working out makes me feel and I am sad that this month I fell off so badly, but I am back in the saddle with healthy living in my view!!

So, I went to Atlanta this weekend to the World Natural Hair Show! Let me tell you, I had a blast!!! I cannot wait to post all of the pics and info that I got. I also met a lot of great business owners that I want to profile in the near future!

But what I really wanted to talk about was my new page look! I love it soooo much. I'd like to thank Rachel@ American Mum She did a WONDERFUL job on my page.
